Thanks so much for your comments, Penny. The Beaufort piece was written to give people a feel for Beaufort. I'm glad it succeeded. Over time, we hope to portray many other vibrant villages--while always keeping a special warm place in our hearts for our hometown.

Wow! What a terrific website. This Beaufort piece is wonderfully complete. It's as if you've lived here forever. Who could guess that you--like so many of us--are really from "off."

Thanks! I very much appreciate your visit to Vibrant Village--and for taking the time to post some good suggestions. Posting more hyperlinks is very do-able--and would be helpful to our readers. The registration procedure is built into the software and I'm not sure we can change the way it's set up--but I'll check with my tech guru.

Dear Editor:

Your articles on Beaufort, NC and Margaretville, NY were nicely written and had enough information in them for web page/sound byte culture.

Suggestion: If you have a paragraph on bicycling or local birds, then display a hyperlink to a local resource FMI.

Lastly, while not a big deal, your initial REGISTER/Sign-in was not real apparent.
