I have my first "punkin" - and it's just my own size
Mom said I might "carve" it - and perhaps earn a prize

But the rules in this contest - appear to be a bit rough
For I can't use a knife - as I am not yet old enough

Found an old black felt pen - to draw all of the features

And make for my "punkie" - the scariest of creatures

What old black ink that was left - as I really did try
There is a cute nose and a smile - but only one scary eye.....
